The army's media wing said that the operation was launched at village Serto Lohi Jalkot near Supat Valley, Kohistan. The individuals were stuck for last 72 hours due to heavy snowfall.
Deputy Commissioner Upper Kohistan Hamid ur Rehman said all seven people were located and rescued in the search operation.
The ISPR said that all seven people have been shifted to a safe location.
District police officer Raja Abdul Saboor Khan had earlier told media that the families of the treasure hunters had not heard from them for more than a week, sparking fears that they may be trapped or dying.
Last week an operation was also launched to rescue tourists stranded in heavy snow near Nathia Gali. Pakistan Army and Air Force rescue teams were sent in support of the civil administration to help the tourists trapped at Toheed Abad near Nathia Gali.
