Ijaz Shah takes notice of Chinese men involved in human trafficking
Federal Minister for Interior Brigadier (retd) Ijaz Ahmad Shah on Tuesday took notice of the issue around Chinese men involved in alleged sex and human trafficking and directed concerned departments to take action on the matter immediately.

The minister wants ambassadors and government officials to engage in the matter.
Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on May 6 arrested eight Chinese men involved in trafficking Pakistani girls to China and forcing them into prostitution.

The arrests were made during a crackdown launched across Punjab, including Lahore. So far, 10 Chinese men have been arrested in the scandal.

Insiders revealed that Christian women were subjected to sexual exploitation after being trafficked to China soon after their false marriage.

The suspects arrested include Wang Hao, Shoi Sheli, Wong Yhazou, Chang Shail Rai, Pan Khowajay, Wang Bao, Zaothi and Kaindisko.

Earlier this week, FIA in an intelligence-based operation raided a wedding ceremony in Faisalabad and arrested the Chinese groom who has been identified as Chang.

Zahid, a Christian father; Kashif, a matchmaking agent; Mendes, a Chinese woman; and others were also taken into custody in the raid.
