Veteran film and television actor Moammar Rana on Sunday joined the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
Moammar met PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at Bilawal House in Lahore and announced that he was joining the party.
The actor, who belongs to a cricketing family, entered Lollywood around 23 years ago.
Apart from several Lollywood films and some TV serials, Rana has worked in two Bollywood films.
He is also set to make his debut as film director for the film Sikander which has been in the making since 2015.
