Pakistan’s leg spinner Shadab Khan and pacer Mohammad Abbas will not be part team for first test.
Earlier on yesterday, the Pakistan team management agreed that the two are not fit for the first Test match against South Africa that begins on December 26 in Centurion.
Both Shadab and Abbas have made great progress recently and are improving every day.
However, they will continue with their current Rehabilitation Program as well as their Return to Play Program. Shadab, Abbas Unfit To Miss First Test Against South AfricaIf all goes according to plan, the team management is positive that both will be available for selection for the second Test in Cape Town that begins on January 3.
In their tour of South Africa, Pakistan will play three Tests, five one-day internationals and three T20 Internationals against South Africa.
According to schedule, the first Test will start from Wednesday at Centurion, the second test will be played at Cape Town from 3rd of next month, while the third and final match will be in Johannesburg from 11th of next month.The first ODI will be played at Port Elizabeth on 19th of next month, second at Durban on 22nd, third at Centurion on 25th, fourth at Johannesburg on 27th and fifth at Cape Town on 30th.
Similarly the first T20 will be played at Cape Town on 1st February, 2nd at Johannesburg on 3rd February, 3rd at Centurion on 6th February.
