Prime Minister Imran Khan is chairing a meeting of the federal cabinet in Islamabad to review performances of ministries.
The premier, according to sources, is reviewing performances of all federal ministries, divisions and advisers over the past three months.
He will also receive briefing on individual performances of ministers, the sources added.
Prime Minister Imran was in Karachi on Sunday for a day-long visit, during which he met with Governor Sindh Imran Ismail, Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, and members from the business community.
The prime minister also met with Karachi Stock Exchange representatives, and assured them of the government's support in promoting business and investment.
