The federal cabinet discussed a six-point agenda in a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday.
The approval to establish Centre of Excellence in collaboration with Turkey was accorded, sources said.
The cabinet also approved the appointments of new members in the economic department of the Ministry of Finance and the monetary and fiscal boards.
Further, an agreement of bilateral cooperation for technical training between Pakistan and Japan was approved.
The cabinet also approved the appointment of Major General Arif as the director-general of the Anti-Narcotics Force, sources added.
