National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Friday, revealing the purpose of their raid on Mian Shehbaz Sharif’s house, claimed that it was done to arrest Hamza Shehbaz.
According to NAB’s spokesperson, Shehbaz’s home was raided to arrest his son Hamza in connection to assets beyond means case.
The investigation against Hamza is underway in assets beyond known sources of income and Ramzan Sugar Mills case, NAB’s spokesperson said.
House was raided considering all legal requirements in view and with all pertaining documents, NAB’s spokesperson added.
On the other hand, PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb has claimed that NAB officials who raided the party president’s home in Lahore were warrant-less.
