Balloting for the government Hajj Scheme will be held in the federal capital at 4pm today
Balloting for the government Hajj Scheme will be held in the federal capital at 4pm today (Tuesday).

Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Dr Noorul Haq Qadri will conduct the balloting.

The results of the balloting will be uploaded on the official website of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and applicants will also be informed of the results via SMS.

This year, 184,210 Pakistanis will perform Hajj of which 107,526 will perform the annual pilgrimage under the government scheme and 71,684 will under private schemes.

According to the 2019 Hajj policy, intending pilgrims had to pay Rs 436,975 and Rs19,451 as optional charges for sacrificial animals.
