The 2019 BAFTA nominations have been announced

The Favourite, starring Olivia Colman as Queen Anne, leads the way with 12 nominations

BlacKkKlansman, The Favourite, Green Book, Roma and A Star Is Born up for best film

Colman and Christian Bale nominated in best actor and actress categories

The Bafta Film Awards will be held at the Royal Albert Hall on February 10

Mary Poppins Returns, a sequel to the 1964 original, starring Emily Blunt, missed out in all of the major categories, receiving three nominations in the technical categories - original music, production design and costume design.

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again also failed to make an appearance on the shortlists.
