National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Friday suggested the Ministry of Interior to put the names of Leader of Opposition in Punjab and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shehbaz Sharif and his brother Salman Shehbaz on the Exit Control List (ECL).
Sources told that the anti-graft watchdog in a letter to the Ministry of Interior stated that sons of former Punjab CM and PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif are under investigation.
Hamza and Salman are being probed by the anti-graft agency in Ramzan Sugar Mills and Saaf Pani Company Scam. NAB had failed to prove charges of financial irregularities in what he thought were politically motivated cases against him, he stated before the LHC bench in his bail plea.
It is alleged that Rs200 million was spent from national exchequer for the construction of a bridge to facilitate transportation for the sugar mill.
