Pakistan says the flagship China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project is an exceptional example of South-South cooperation.

Addressing UN General Assembly's Second Committee on economic and financial matters, Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Maleeha Lodhi emphasized that collaboration among developing countries is vital to bolster their productive capacities.
