Child among 3 Palestinians killed in Gaza protests
Three Palestinians were killed and hundreds injured on Friday when the Israeli occupation forces heavily opened fire at the Great March of Return protesters east of the Gaza Strip.

Israeli warplanes further launched two airstrikes on northern Gaza. Eyewitnesses told Quds Press that two Palestinian resistance posts were bombed with no injuries reported.

According to Gaza Ministry of Health, the martyrs are Fares al-Sirsawi, 12, Akram Abu Sam'an, 24, and Husein al-Raqeb, 20, and nearly 376 Palestinians were injured.

The PIC reporter said that thousands of Palestinian citizens rallied along the border fence between the Gaza Strip and the 1948 occupied Palestinian territories to take part in the protests of the 28th Friday of the Great March of Return.

Palestinian youths flew fire balloons over the border fence and burned dozens of car tires to block the view of Israeli snipers.

The Israeli occupation army earlier on Friday summoned reinforcements and redeployed more Iron Dome missile defense systems at the border in anticipation of any response by the Palestinian resistance groups in Gaza.

Palestinians in the Gaza Strip since 30 March have been protesting along Gaza border to mainly call for lifting Gaza siege and allowing Palestinian refugees to return to their lands from which they were expelled in 1948.

So far 208 Palestinians have been killed by the Israeli army and over 22,000 injured, 400 of whom are in critical condition.
